Whether you’re heading to a client meeting in Hauppauge or responding to a case from your office in Ronkonkoma, being able to access your work email on your smartphone is essential. Setting it up is usually quick—but it needs to be done correctly, especially if your business handles sensitive or regulated data.
At ETS IT Solutions, we help businesses across Long Island stay connected and secure, and that includes getting their email working on all devices.
Here’s how to do it step-by-step.
What You’ll Need Before You Start
Make sure you have:
Your email address and password
The server information (e.g., mail.yourcompany.com or Microsoft/Google server addresses)
Access to any 2FA (two-factor authentication) codes if enabled
Admin approval or security settings (if enforced by your IT team)
If your company uses Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or another business email platform, some settings may be pre-configured through a mobile device management system (MDM).
